Our Story

How it all Began

Generosity Children’s Foundation founder, Kibuuka Moses, was an orphaned child himself. He knows all too well the struggles of a child who must learn to survive on his own. As an adult, he could not ignore the needs of the children around him, and was compelled to take action. He began by caring for just one child by giving him food and shelter. Through God’s leading and generous sponsors, Brother Moses, along with three other staff members, Mother Rose, Sister Gladys, and Sister Esther fully care for the needs of thirty-four children who reside at the orphanage.

At Generosity Children’s Foundation we believe…

pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for the orphans and widows in their distress...”
— James 1:27

This is our goal and purpose: to obey and glorify God, and to care for those most vulnerable in our community through charity and care-giving.

Community Outreach

  • October Birthday Party--to celebrate all of the children in the care of the home (as many do not know their actual date of birth) and providing food, games, and entertainment for the community

  • Christmas Celebration--we celebrate the birth of our Savior with holiday songs, decorations, stories, and gifts, as well as a themed community outreach (In 2020, we held a clothing-drive that provided clothes for over 650 needy children in our community.)

  • The residents of our community also know that GCF always has open doors to any child who may be hungry. Many of the needy children in the neighborhood regularly come to GCF to receive a free, and life-sustaining meal.
